Egbert Trogemann works from a point of view that emphasises factual
objectivity. He considers himself a chronicler, with his images of people,
buildings or artistic presentations analising changing conditions in time.
Since 1999 he has documented television studio audiences in an extensive
series of works exploring life in the contemporary media landscape. His
photographs have been published in catalogues and magazines all over the
world.

Egbert Trogemanns fotografischer Blick sucht nach sachlicher Objektivität. Er
versteht sich als Chronist. So werden seine Aufnahmen von Menschen,
Architekturen oder künstlerischen Inszenierungen zur Analyse von Zuständen.
In einer umfangreichen Werkgruppe dokumentiert er seit 1999 das
Studiopublikum von TV-Shows als Teil des medialen Lebens. Seine Fotos werden
weltweit in Katalogen und Magazinen publiziert.
